Dream a little...

Friday is one of my favourite days of the week, the week end is ahead of me, work is done and it's time to dream a little. It's 30c in London today and I am digging out one of my favourite summer dresses for the last bit of sunshine before winter arrives. So today I'm imaging what it would be like if I had unlimited budget and could buy all the amazing leopard print clothes and accessories on the net - including the Dolce & Gabbana dress that it's sold out everywhere... how how good would that look at the shows!
Have a fab week end and see you on Monday from Paris xx

Back in the office

Back in the office sporting my new Miu Miu bracelet (which I thought was a necklace?!). It's lovely;y and warm in London today so I'm giving my yellow trousers another run before the winter season, paired with denim shirt and fabulous LK Bennett satin pumps.

Prada outlets time

10am - Pit stop at the italian "Autogrill" for my favorite cornetto with jam. All the shopping I have planned ahead needs some serious fueling..

Arrive at Space Outlet which has Prada and Miu Miu... I can hardly pose for the photo I'm so excited to go in! Usually I go every time I go back but this year has been all about the wedding and I haven't been in months...

I head right to the shoes. I am looking for a pair of show stopping chaussures, something for Paris and the shows. I could have easily bought all five pairs but I'm on a budget.... I LOVED the stripy silver and black ones but end up choosing a more "wearable" pair...

Then I head to the shop floor, I loved this Miu Miu t-shirt but then resolve that I wouldn't wear it until next summer so decide against it...

I loved this grey sweatshirt with silk chiffon side panels... I regret not getting it...

This dress was gorgeous! But again I think I wouldn't get enough wear out of it...

Finally something I would wear lots this winter! Never mind the unflattering photo, but this beautiful pair of tapered cobalt blue trousers make it into my shopping bag...

I also loved this brocade skirt but they don't have my size...

I leave happily with a few shopping bags...

A quick rest in the sun with my shopping friend Franesca and then we are ready to head home...

And here my purchases! Navy blue glitter court shoes. I can't wait to wear these with rolled up denim, chinos or a smart black dress..

A statement necklace! I love dressing up a jumper with a bit of bling and this will be perfect for next season too (it's all about pastels)...

An ever-green pair of blue trousers. These will look super cool with a tangerine cashmere knit or super chic with a navy jumper and my glitter shoes!

the Italian in me

I don't think I could get more italian than this! Meeting my little sister outside her school in my tangerine Hobbs dress, Prada bag, New Look sandals and big Armani sunnies. Very excited bout a trip to the outlets tomorrow...

Like mother like daughter

I've come back home to Florence for a long week end and this morning I had to laugh because when I walked down the stairs I saw that my mum and I were practically wearing the same outfits! We were even wearing the same shade of bright tangerine lipstick. So today,  I dedicate this post to my super stylish mamma that always looks chic, weather she is wearing rolled up khakis and a T-shirt or a beautiful evening dress. I love her grown up preppy style with little quirky details,  like her bright satin ballerinas, her lilac double strap  Swatch worn with bracelets shs collected throughout the years and the way she always wears her "Mami" necklace which my sisters and I gave her for Christmas many years ago.

Laura Top Shop T-shirt, Zara cargo pants, New Look sandals, Prada bag. Antonella J.Crew T-shirt and chinos, Zara ballerinas, Chanel sunglasses.

Mamma Antonella has been following WIT and adding a splash of color to her neutral outfit!

I love this fabric bracelet where she's attached little charms and mementos from holidays

We had this made for her by a Florentine jeweler. It says "Mami" and she loves it..

Personalised everything

I would literally personalise everything in my life: bags, towels, bed sheets, plates, stationery, shoes.. I admit that I have a slight obsession with anything that can have my name/intials embroidered/engraved/printed on it! So today I wanted to share with you the love for this US website I discovered whilst looking for my next "LF" buy. It's called iomoi.com (pronounced "eomua") and has everything from canvas and leather bags, to dinner plates and stationery. Online, you can choose your own motifs, colours and personalise just about all of their products. They ship internationally and I just can't get enough of it- I know you will too!

If  like me, you are always carrying extra stuff to work or back home a pesonalised tote is the perfect chic extra-bag. This is my new canvas tote with leather handles and I LOVE IT. I opted for a large size with a navy and orange motif that goes with anything.  Next on the list is the matching wash bags and maybe some adress stickers too...

They also do the cutest E-stationery service by which you can send beautiful cards by email like the one below. Try it out HERE

Last day of London Fashion Week.. freestyling!

Fifth and last day of LFW, which also means last tini-tiny effort on heels, after which I want a whole week in flats! Today I am going for warmth and comfort because I am running around between venues all day. I bought this Zara jumper a week ago in the effort of trying to inject colour into my A/W wardrobe. So I'm  wearing it with my black leather leggings and a pair of gorgeous satin floral print kitten heels (very comfy I should add). Oh, and gold clutch (magpie in me)!

On my way home I saw my first autumnal leaf... fall is really upon us.

Fourth day at London Fashion Week

This London Fashion week I've teamed up with one of my favourite online stores, MyWardrobe.com and chose my favourite must-buys to wear with my everyday wardrobe. So in the next few days come and see my recommendations and what I've hand picked to wear for the shows.

Fourth day at fashion week and I am wearing... There's a bit of an uninterntional "magenta theme" running thrugh my fashion week looks and today it's no exeption. I've chosen a pair of tapered trousers in this season's "prune" colour, I love the way they sit just on the ankle (hard to find) and the knit fabric is very flattreing on. I've teamed this look with my J.Crew shocking pink, my favoutite trench, an overzise gold clutch and a pair of Miu Miu patent slingbacks. When wearing bright colours I often mix in neutrals to make it more wearable- always works.

Third day at London Fashion Week with MyWardrobe.com

This London Fashion week I've teamed up with one of my favourite online stores, MyWardrobe.com and chose my favourite must-buys to wear with my everyday wardrobe. So in the next few days come and see my recommendations and what I've hand picked to wear for the shows.

YMC jumper, Vintage belt, MiH jeans, Jimmy Choo shoes, Mulberry bag and YSL lipstick in Rouge pour couture for all of those who asked

Third day at fashion week and I am wearing... It's Sunday for fashion-dressing too, so today I'm opting for a relaxed denim look. I've paired my own pair of MiH denim flares (sold on MyWardrobe too in a gorgeous wintry dark navy) with an aubergine oversize cable knit jumper cinched in at the waist with a tan belt. I'm also wearing another beautiful navy Mulberry bag called Polly. I love navy bags (see my Chanel 2.55)- so much better than black but just as versatile.

This London Fashion week I've teamed up with one of my favourite online stores, MyWardrobe.com and chose my favourite must-buys to wear with my everyday wardrobe. So in the next few days come and see my recommendations and what I've hand picked to wear for the shows.

Second day at fashion week and I am wearing... a butter soft McQ black leather skirt teamed with a crisp white T-shirt and the all-important trench, finished off with this irresistible navy Mulberry bag, Assya coin pendant necklace and my hot pink Rupert Sanderson pumps. I love this look because it combines a little bit of cool with classic wardrobe staples, which is always my favourite way to dress.

First day of Fashion Week with MyWardrobe.com

This London Fashion week I've teamed up with one of my favourite online stores, my-wardrobe.com to choose my favourite must-buys and wear with my everyday wardrobe. They have such a great selection of clothes, shoes and accessories that I had the best time picking my favourites! So in the next few days come and see my recommendations and what I've hand picked to wear for the shows.

First day at fashion week and I am wearing... one of my wardrobe must-haves, a soft grey marl sweatshirt from Splendid, teamed with a MyWardrobe exclusive Anton Heunis statement necklace and a fabulously chic bag from 3.1 Philip Lim. It is the most beautiful navy, textured leather tote that holds all my LFW essentials. I've paired everything with an old pair of shocking pink Rupert Sanderson courts and skinny chinos for a relaxed first day look.
