Day five at LFW

Last day of LFW! By this time I've given up on the heels and it's time for some warm layers and flats. My first show today was Anya Hindmarch which was simply.. well SENSATIONALl! I want to dedicate this whole post to her and her talented team because it really was a show to be remembered and I was so chuffed to be invited. First of all I want to say that every season us fashion editors really look forward to her presentations: weather they are in an abandoned tube station, a boat on the river Thames or a Spa in Battersea, she always comes up with something really clever and entertaining, so amusing it keeps up talking about it for weeks! This season I was particularly excited because she was to host her very first show. The buzz and the little teasers she leaked on twitter (like this funny photo) sure meant it was going to be amazing!

From @AnyaHindmarch twitter

She always comes up with some gorgeously retro Anya-world invite and this season was no exception

The invited quoted "All I've ever wanted"

The ticket was an old style cinema ticket

I got to Burlington Gardens early (I didn't want to miss it for the world) and got shown to my seat by a lovely Pr girl in what looked like a retro-style factory worker uniform... and I soon gathered why. The whole set was a Charlie & the chocolate factory meets fashion catwalk fantasy world...

On my seat a programme, Anya's branded Quality Streets and a little explanantion of Anya's inspiration

Then the music started, the huge machine got ticking and the bags started appearing... just genious! Take a look at this short video I took because I don't think words can actually describe how entertaining all of this was..

And then the finale...
First came the bubbles...

... and then the confetti!
Here are some of the gorgeous "quality street-inpired" bags and accessories... I will be sure to buy the colour block shoulder bag.. can't WAIT for A/W!!!

Brava Anya! x

Day four at LFW

I initially had this outfit planned with my skinny leather leggings but then decide I felt like  skirt today! Off to the office and only a few shows today so I can afford to dress lighter and wear my opened toe sandals. I forgotten I had this fab neon pink perspex clutch, goes perfectly with my J.Crew cashmere top and my Sharouk for Swarovski necklace.

J.Crew top, Zara skirt, French Connection coat, New Look shoes, Kurt Geiger clutch, sharouk for Swarovski necklace.

I know some of these bits are quite pricey.. but they are gorgeous too and I would buy all of them so I can't not recommend them!

Day three at LFW

Sundays always kick off with a 9amer at Margaret Howell- it's an early one and becuase it's Sunday every year I kind of think it's ok to wear jeans. I start off in my navy glitter Miu Miu heels but I've got flats in my bag.. It's Sunday after all! Today I'm digging out an old favorite, my Lanvin for HM necklace (which reminds me it will be Marni for HM soon and I simply cannot wait). Stripy top, my New Look navy coat with p-lether sleeves and Smythson Emily bag in red complete the look. Off I go!

New Look coat, Cos top, Lanvin for HM necklace, For all Mankind jeans, Miu Miu shoes, Smythson bag

On my way to the next show we get stuck in front of Buckingham Palace for some guard parade... so London! We have to watch the whole thing and we are going to be late for Nicole Farhi!!!

The much anticipated Top Shop show is beautiful..

And we get a lovely gift: taupe, red and black lacquer

It's time for me to switch to flats, eat a brownie and some pink lemonade... (The japanese Vogue team seem to love them and they get snapped away)

It seems to be a very "London scenic day"! On the way out from Top Shop show I take this pic of the fashion crowd overlooking stunning views over Towe Bridge.

And finally here is a super short video of the Vivienne Westwood show

Second day at LFW

It's been a busy day today am to pm back to back shows. I realise half way through the day that I am wearing my 98% high street... who says that you have to spend a lot to look good with a high street like the one we have in the UK? Here's a little photo diary of my day and some close ups of my outfit.

French Connection coat, Top Shop silk dress worn under Top Shop knit, New Look platform sandals, Bex Rox necklace, Smythson Emily bag.

My miu miu-esque New Look sandals

First show of the day is Clements Ribeiro...

Then I jump in our brand new Red branded Range Rover onto the next shows...

Busy tweeting as I wait for the shows to start (if you didn't know I'm WITblog follow me!)

Lunch with my friend Claire at the BFC tent, there is a yummy Tom's deli

I love her Nocturne necklace!

I actually love her whole outfit! Another great way to wear yellow.

My boss Nicola Rose and my execuitve fashion director Emily "posing" for WIT readers...

More shows...

and finally time for home!

First day at LFW

And here we go with day number one at LFW. I'm easing my way into this glam week by wearing my favourite MiH flares with my new lemon yellow Top Shop knit, Christopher Kane for Svarowski necklace, my French Connection grey coat and my brand new Emily bag from Smythson. Everyone askes me if it's Celine, but I think this chic navy style is even better!

Here I am on my way to the first show this morning- so happy with my Emily bag! My lipstick is Nars's Heatwave and my polish Butter's red (see yesterday's post for links on where to buy)

I'm so proud that my amazing assistant Lucy has finally signed up to twitter, you have probably seen her in some of my posts and loved some of her pages on Red, now you can follow her on twitter @Le_Reber  - she is a fellow bling lover and how funny that the necklace she is wearing today is the Miss Selfridge one I featured in yesterday's post!? We are so in tune ;-)

 Show time!
 And more!

A little mid afternoon snack in between one show and another at the BFC tent with the rest of the Red girls

Photo time with the rest of the team! Love Alex's neon accessories: Theory bag and Danny Jo bracelets.. wherever I look there are amazing things... Check out Marisa's (our online fashion editor) silver Chanel bag!

More shows..
It's been a busy first day and I'm ready to head home after crashing on the pink sofa's of the BFC Press Lounge.
