Fashion's Night Out- London

Tonight I am taking part at London's Fashion Night Out and heading to my favorite department store, Liberty's, where I will be meeting fabulous LFW designer Richard Nicoll and chatting about his new exciting collaboration with J.Brand jeans.  I've dressed up for the occasion and will be posting lots of pics from out and about. I just got back from a wonderful evening in and out of shops celebrating Fashion's Night Out. It was a truly special event and it was fantastic to see London's west  end buzzing with so much fashion action.

During my visit at Liberty's, I had the great pleasure of meeting Richard Nicoll, one of my favorite designers and greatest talents of London Fashion Week. I was also lucky enought to see and try on the only sample of his unique J.Brand jeans interpretation. The Richard Nicoll jean is a figure hugging, black denim jean, with thigh high side zips and waxed-denim effect. He tells me that it is the "humorus" side of his jean that says more about his style, "once on, you might wonder if you are wearing thigh-high boots", infact the waxed denim colour blocking creates just that effect, and it looks fabulous on. I loved this slick sexy design, and I can see that it has a lot in common with the sharp lines and modern style of his mainline collection. I can't wait to wear my own pair at London Fashion Week... perhaps at Richard's show, on September the 19th!
