The fashiony faux fur collar

Do you remember this sensational Prada show? It was Spring/Summer 2011 and models strutted down the catwalk in banana print peplum skirts, stripy clutch bags and brightly coloured fur scarfs. I loved this show so much, and since then I've been regretting not buying something from the collection. However my sisters made my dream come true and for Christmas gave me a faux fur orange and blue scarf from the commercial collection (a great Outlets find). Today I'm wearing it over my grey coat and flared high waist jeans for a glamorous commute to work.

I realise this thing is not everyone's cup of tea and possibly not the most wearable for everyday life, so I've compiled a little shopping list of great faux collars, snoods and collars of more subtle colours. And if you are super lazy, you can even get a coat with a modest navy fur collar attached!
