What shade of lipstick are you wearing?

A few weeks ago I was invited by Bobbi Brown to visit their new Covent Garden store and try on some of their products. As you know, I'm a red lipstick addict so when asked what I wanted to try on I of course said a scarlet lip. Coincidentally the shade I chose was called.. Jenna!

Bobbi Brown created this shade for Jenna herself - I thought it was quite funny! The photos are now up on Facebook and I thought I would share them with you alongside our new page on Wardrobe ICONS entirely dedicated to mine and Petros' favourite red lipstick. So you never have to ask: "What shade of lipstick are you wearing?'.

Just a little bit obsessed with green..

I've developed a slight obsession with green lately - it started when I bought my Topshop utility trousers (which I have already got so much wear out of), and I realised it caught on when I bought my bottle green Acne jumper last week and painted my nails on a metallic drangonlfly shade (all at once).

The great thinking about green is that, a little bit like red, it's a non-colour, at least not a scary one to buy into. There was a  discount on J.Crew over the week end and I bought an olive green Tippi sweater that will look great with jeans and worn as a neutral with pretty much any bottoms. Green looks great with gold and with navy so with 99% of my wardrobe! Have a think about it - I'm feeling as though green might be my new grey....

Behind the scenes on our Perfect Wardrobes shoot

A few weeks ago I posted this photo on Instagram minutes before stepping into the house of our second "Perfect Wardrobes" guest star, my friend and fellow fashion editor (although a bit constrictive as she's much more than that - she is the ultimate shopping expert), the one and only Deborah Brett.

I've known Deborah for many years and I don't think I ever remember seeing her and not coveting  every single item she was wearing. So, when Petro (who also has a huge style crush on her) and I were thinking about who's wardrobe we wanted to explore for our party dressing issue, we simultaneously said: DB's! She was kind enough to welcome us into her beautiful newly refirbshed Holland Park home, and let us run loose in her walk in wardrobe that she shares with her partner Tom.

We had the TIME OF OUR LIVES!

And if you love her style, you must check out her blog too - not only she is an impeccably stylish dresser, she's also super talented at making "things"... from spray painting pumpkins for Halloween to turning her daughter Mini's bedroom into an enchanted forest, Deborah has a skill for everything and anything.

Enjoy this little behind the scenes sneak peek!

The seasonal red Tippi sweater

I bought this bright red Tippi sweater last year around this time and it seemed appropriate to wear it today to celebrate the start of December, together with a day clutch, my Stella McCartney wool baseball cap and a new red lip colour in trying out from Bobbi Brown. Happy Monday!
