Do you remember this 11 October post from behind the scenes of my shoot? I took lots of behind the scenes photos of the gorgeous Red women I shot for a trench coat special but couldn't reveal who they were. Well here is the end result! In order of appearance: fashion and creative director of Red (my boss) Nicola Rose with her daughter Riley, beautiful actress Keeley Hawes, www.fashionfoiegras.com blogger Emily Johnston, founder of vintage online store www.atelier-mayer.com Carmen Haid and make-up artist Lisa Eldridge. It was a lovely day and so refreshing to work with such inspirational women, but more on them below.
The shoot was all about trench coats, a classic loved by Red and WIT. I styled it with pos of bright colours and loved the Burberry one Nicola is wearing and the Daks one Keeley is sporting with a scarlet fabric belt.
Here I am styling the lovely Keeley Hawes..
Sunny Emily Johnston, is the founder of one of my favourite fashion news blog www.fashionfoiegras.com
She was such a joy to work with, this pic really does say it all about her!
Carmen Haid started a fabulous vintage website called Atelier Mayer www.atelier-mayer.com so check it out for some amazing finds! Her dog Spencer was the cutest thing so we decided to star him in the shot with her!
Gorgeous make-up artist Lisa Eldridge. In case you don't know it already she does some great how-to videos on her website. I've learned to use a black eye liner pencil thanks to her and have been avidly following on twitter since! Check out her videos here www.lisaeldridge.com
SALE ALERT!
If you want to make a real investment buy in trench-ville here is my absolute favourite from the Chloe catwalk..
And finally, if like me you share the love of a trench, take a look at this book

Absolutely LOVE this shoot Laura! Something about a pop of candy brights against a neutral trench that just feels so perfect for an English spring (and adore Lisa and Emily in real life, so these pictures make me smile).

What a fabulous post! I love the way you style the neutral trench with eye-popping brights, it looks so fresh and modern.

I love your blog and this shoot looks fabulous. I think Keeley Hawes is gorgeous but the thing that has blown me away, is the link to Lisa Eldridge's videos - I can't stop watching them. Lisa is beautiful, has a lovely speaking voice and you can really see what to do. So, a great big thank you.
