Let's face it, stretchy jersey and pregnancy equal comfort. So in my 5 and a half months pregnancy status I've decided to give in to a few jersey additions to my wardrobe. Now you will never see me in low cut purple wrap dress, however I've made couple of purchases this week that given the right styling will be just the right mix of cool and comfort. When buying jersey numbers during pregnancy I think the two things to watch out for are colour and length. Colour: black, grey and navy jersey look more expensive, any other colour more often that not doesn't. Length: watch out for that "mumsy length" (just below the knee), for me it's either short, midi or maxi. When pairing with your existing wardrobe I think the trick is to keep it cool, mix with your most stylish designer bag, cool sunglasses, leopard print and leather jacket. Here's how I'm styling mine...
In my shopping bag this week:
River Island side slit black maxi skirt worn with...
The Boden maternity Leggings £22.00 worn with...
See you next Friday for another WIT Baby Friday post!

Black might be great now, but you'll still be in these clothes after giving birth, & black will be the worst colour to wear then - it will show up every bit of milk/spit. Make sure you have a couple of prints too!! (I'm a mother of 2 boys...)
Hope your pregnancy is going well. I look forward to WIT every day!

I LOVE LOVE your Baby Friday posts! I'm 6 months pregnant and have found pregnancy dressing to be incredibly difficult so far. I am already sick of my leggings so getting to see your outfits is providing much needed inspiration.
